Charlotte Carey and Lewis Williams (both of Glyncoed school in Ebbw Vale) won their respective events today in Cardiff. Charlotte beat Angharad Phillips in the girls final 3-0 whilst Lewis managed to overturn Conor in the boys final 3-2. Conor led 9-6in the deciding set but Lewis came back to take it 11-9.
Girls: Charlotte Carey beat Angharad Philips 11-8, 14-12, 11-5.
Boys: Lewis Williams beat Conner Edwards 10-12, 8-11, 11-8, 11-7, 11-9.
Consolation: Caitlin Williams beat Soffi Jenkins 11-9, 11-7, 11-5.
