New Community Club opens up

One door closes, another opens...

Now Greenhouse no longer fund table tennis coaching in the Rhondda the legacy remains with dedicated coaches to push things on. Steve Jenkins has set up his agency who now run a table tennis club at Tonypandy each and every Thursday 5-8pm. Tonight was the launch and if the first night is anything to go by it will be a big club for Welsh table tennis.

With over 35 players attending from Internationals to 5 year old youngsters, from siblings to old hands it had it all. It had players like Ethan Davies, Tommy Barrett, Lawson Jones, Danielle Tyler & her brother Rob - all of who fell from the game but have returned.

It had older members like Brian Kerley, Hywel Jones and Ben Gregory. It had internationals like Charlotte Carey, Nicole Hall, Conor Edwards, Jac Jenkins, Callum Evans, Chris Griffiths and Ryan Flood. It had beginners like James Clayton and Ben Evans. Most of all it had fun....

See you next week??
